Fitzgerald Virtual Academy
Grades 9-12
The Fitzgerald Virtual Academy provides students the flexibility to complete a comprehensive high school educational they may have not been able to obtain in a traditional setting. The rigorous academic courses are designed specifically to prepare students with needed 21st Century skills to successfully compete in post-secondary programs. Through a partnership with Imagine Learning, FVA offers students the opportunity to complete a high school diploma while maintaining a flexible personal schedule. The program is designed to provide students with a variety of educational goals and the opportunity to succeed. FVA is committed to continually improving our virtual program to keep up with the evolving needs of our students.

We’re proud to offer courses with curriculum that has been approved to prepare Michigan students for college and career success through Imagine Learning® Courseware that has over 200 Common Core and Michigan Standards aligned core curriculum, honors, AP®, credit recovery, and elective courses.
Online high school students have better opportunities to develop personal motivation, self-discipline, time-management skills and efficient computer skills—making the transition to an in-class or online college experience that much easier.
The FVA offers a blended learning approach—students attend lab sessions 1 time per week on campus with a lead teacher or mentor and individual attention with a success coach that monitors, motivates and holds students accountable to their progress goals.
